Jocassee Wild Naturalists

For some people, Jocassee makes a deep, profound impression that goes beyond descriptive words. Some people can’t get enough of Jocassee, returning again and again to experience the wonder of this one wild place. You could call it – and many do – a spiritual experience. Maybe it’s the raw beauty of mountains folding into one another, maybe it’s the music of water sliding around ancient rock, maybe it’s the way light is captured in a shower of rain. Maybe it’s the abundance of life, in so many forms. Whatever it is that draws us here, Lake Jocassee lifts us to 1110’ above sea level and floats us into a place of wonder, and mystery. Join us for a series of ten classes to discover what makes this is such a special place. You can learn more about becoming a Jocassee Wild Naturalist here. ~K
