Fallen Friend‍
Early morning. Rain-slicked asphalt. Loose gravel. A brief moment of confusion and chaos, and in that blink of an eye, life changes. Searing pain. And blood… so much blood. It was a regular Wednesday until our friend Brandon crashed his motorcycle coming into work, shattering his ankle. Now he faces months of healing. You know Brandon. He is the tall, handsome young man who helps you get parked for tours, shuttles you to the dock, delivers your kayaks, keeps the boats in good working order, and so, so much more. We’re going to miss having him around for the next few months. We’re passing the hat on Brandon’s behalf, because we care about him, and because, being injured, he is not eligible for unemployment in S.C.
