Sheryl White

Small waterfall flowing over rocks in a forest with autumn foliage.

Cool nights, shorter days and soaking rain have transformed the Jocassee Gorges. The streams are full again with picturesque cascades and surging waterfalls. Now that chlorophyll production has significantly slowed, the scarlet, maroon, terra cotta, amber and olive leaves are dazzling. They won’t last long – so book a seat and check them out before they drop. Brooks will tell you more about the birds we’re beginning to see…so again, layer up, bring a blanket, something warm to drink and see for yourself. It’s finally Fall, y’all!~ Sheryl, JLT guide and exceptionally nice person.
