Orogeny piles over epoch in these worn and rumpled hills, and the story they tell is an endless mystery. Mountain is rock: these mountains are some of the oldest earth has to offer, but even rock is not what it once was. Change is constant. ‘Tis a wonder to behold, from above, on a fine clear day. ~K
