It’s that time of year again, water temperatures are where we want them and the fish are very active. Now until early July is the best chance to not only catch numbers of fish but also quality size. Also, the fish that were stocked last year are now reaching the 15 inch minimum and are putting up a powerful fight. We even traded our down-riggers for a fly rod last week to try our luck at wild trout in the lesser known tributaries of Jocassee, producing 2 wild rainbows and 1 wild brown trout. ~Zach Maddox, JLT fishing guide
