Public Photography Tours with Pam Barbour
Photography Tour - Loons and Winter Waterbirds w/ Nature Photographer Pam Barbour. Limited to 8ppl.
Jocassee Lake Tours is offering a rare opportunity just for photographers! Towards the end of March, Common Loons overwintering on Lake Jocassee have molted into their spectacular breeding plumage. Also on display is the beautiful breeding plumage of the Horned Grebe. Eagles, on and off the nest, are a regular occurrence this time of year, and maybe even a sighting of Jocassee's resident Peregrine Falcons as well. It's a brief window of opportunity at the end of every winter and we hope you can join us. Each day's tour will be limited to 8 people in order for the photographers to have plenty of room to maneuver and be comfortable. The outings will be led by our own Pam Barbour, a professional photographer who has photographed the world's wildest places from pole to pole.
