COOL SEASON PARKING FOR OCTOBER 1, 2023 – APRIL 30, 2024

DIRECTIONS: WHERE TO PARK & MEET

**ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 20 MINUTES PRIOR TO TOUR TIME**

No matter where you are traveling from, here are the Easy Directions for finding us:

  • Heading WEST on HWY 11-Turn right on Boone Creek Rd. (Lake shop gas station is on the right) At stop sign turn right onto Jocassee Lake Rd. You will arrive at DFSP in 2.5 miles**
  • Heading EAST on HWY 11-Turn left on to Jocassee Lake Rd. STAY on this road, You will arrive at DFSP in 3.5 miles

**ONCE ON JOCASSEE LAKE ROAD, TURN OFF YOUR GPS OR IT WILL TAKE YOU SOMEWHERE YOU DON’T WANT TO GO**

Take the first RIGHT inside the park where a sign displays all cars and boat traffic.

There is a pay booth behind the Ranger Station just as you reach the office.
Pay $8 per adult 16-64, $5 for seniors 65+, $4 for children 6-15 and 5 and under
are free. Tuesday entry is free! There is a green box outside with envelopes for your money. Be sure to display the hang tag in your car. Between October 1, 2023 – April 30, 2024, you may park in the upper parking area close to the Ranger Station. You may also park close to the boat ramp for your convenience. We will meet you at the dock. We are not affiliated with the Devils Fork State Park, and park staff will not be able to answer questions regarding your tour.

Take the first LEFT where the sign displays picnic area, single car parking inside the park then take your immediate RIGHT (Buckeye Drive) into Day Use Area. Continue to the loop, where you will see Picnic Shelter #2 area. We will have a shuttle sign displayed. There is a pay booth just before you reach the Day Use Area. Pay $8 dollars per person adults, $5 seniors (65 & up), $4 kids (ages 6 – 15), ages 5 and under, free. Tuesdays are free entry day! (If no one is attending the fee booth, there is a green box outside with envelopes for your money, and be sure to display the hang tag in your car.)
Free Entry into Devils Fork State Park on Tuesday’s!

We are not affiliated with the Devils Fork State Park, and park staff will not be able to answer questions regarding your tour.
We will Shuttle you to the dock or if you prefer, you may walk to the dock.


SATURDAY & SUNDAY AND ALL HOLIDAYS

Lake Jocassee has become a popular weekend destination, and the only way to get onto the lake is through Devils Fork State Park. EXPECT TO WAIT IN A LINE of cars at the park entrance on busy weekends and expect to see park staff turning cars around to exit once the park is full. So please plan accordingly! To better service our guests, Jocassee Lake Tours has made arrangements to park cars on private property just before entering the park boundaries.

Please arrive 45 minutes early. Parking lot opens one hour prior to tour time.

You will park in our private lot.
