Something didn't look right.

Something didn’t look right. We cruised closer. Nope, a boat doesn’t belong upside down, with people clinging to its side. Not right, not at all. But these hapless young people in their small craft did not make it to their camping site this week. Their four day stay ended on day one, upside down in the middle of Lake Jocassee,  with their food, camping gear, clothes, car keys, and a right expensive assortment of fishing gear floating gently down to the bottom of a very deep lake. The boat was towed to shore upside down, half its gas dispersing into the still waters, and the young people were, aside from being traumatized, just fine, and safely deposited on dry land. What happened, you ask? Well, a wake from a boat washed over their bow, filled the dinghy, and down she went. These wakes are not a joke, folks. Be careful out there, and please watch out for the other guy. ~K
