I'm excited about this!

I haven’t had nearly enough time to go kayaking in this very busy summer. So now, to solve my yearnings and to better serve our clientele, we’re offering Every Sunday Kayak Tours, starting next Sunday, August 5. We’ll tow the kayaks to some of our favorite wild places to paddle, then disembark from the pontoon boat and climb into the kayaks for a leisurely paddle up some of the most beautiful parts of Jocassee. Lunch along the way, stops for swimming and exploring... it’s not like any other kayak tour you’ve been on! The tours are from 10 to 4, about 3 hours of which are spent paddling. All our kayak tours are designed to be easy on the body and nourishing to the spirit. It takes a minimum of six people to make these new outings a go, so I hope you’ll join us! As for the other new tour, we’re calling them Rainbow Tours. It is, admittedly, the same tour as our Sunset Tours, but this summer, this wet and stormy summer, I’ve seen more rainbows after our almost daily   afternoon storms than I have ever seen. And such clockwork! Afternoon storms occur on a regular basis on Jocassee between 4 and 5pm, usually clearing off nicely by the start time of our evening tours, at 6pm. Great clouds, gorgeous sunsets, and rainbows! Summer evenings sent directly from Heaven, or so it seems.~B
