INSTANT FRIENDS

It?s truly a beautiful thing when everyone on a public tour fits together like a puzzle, each person unique and joyful. Imagine this: 1 boat with 5 parties (4 ?couples? and 1 group of 3) on a 4-hour adventure deep into the Jocassee Gorges. Imagine everyone listening intently to one another, compliments rolling smoothly off their tongues, encouraging and heartfelt words filling the air, and laughter reverberating off the mountains. They were sharing food, helping each other take photos, and cheering each other on when it was time to “take the plunge” into the cool water. As we approached ?Family Rock? – 3 adventurers grew excited to take the jumping challenge. These 3 adventurers from 3 different states didn?t know each other just 3 hours ago?..but on the count of 3, they joyfully jumped together. As we motored back to the dock there was more laughter and best wishes for a bright future. I whispered, “Now, this is a boat full of peace, love and unity…..and it feels oh, so good!” ~Kerry
