The mission of JAC is to provide a day of adventure and discovery around Lake Jocassee, giving children, parents, and grandparents a day to remember! While this nature camp is child-focused, there is plenty to engage the inner child in us all. Children (of all ages) will have engaging, hands-on experiences with all the wonderful elements that make Jocassee a special place, full of wonder and mystery!
What to Bring

- Sun hat, rain jacket or windbreaker
- Sunglasses

- Environmentally-friendly sunscreen
- Swimwear and a towel in summer
- Camera, binoculars
What to Wear
- Please wear swimsuit or shorts for swimming (changing not available on board).
- Water shoes (flip flops are not water shoes)
What to Know
- Appropriate gratuities for your guide are greatly appreciated
- We allow plenty of time for picture taking
- We offer swim stops during warm season
- Restroom facilities are available at the Day Use picnic area and at the Ranger Station. There are no restroom facilities aboard our pontoons. We do offer “nature breaks” during the tour, upon request.
- Jocassee Lake Tours reserves the right to CANCEL if less than 6 people are booked, or in case of inclement weather.
